hi im a 14 year old lad in kent currently on a horribly rubbish old appollo bike with a completely fubar'd bottom crank but am hoping to replace it very soon! i enjoy casual cycling even though i am worried i will be sitting on a pile of scrap metal soon (i already am but i manage to push it on a 36 mile ride a few times a year and to school and back some days which is 4 miles) ! oh well rant over HI

What part of Kent do you live? Have you thought of joining a cycling club? my kids go to Wigmore Go-Ride every Saturday in Gillingham and get to borrow the club bikes, and get to test them out and see what kind of bike would suit your riding style, whether it be road riding or more off road

thanks for welcoming me so kindly i will try to post a picture of my apollo at some point to show how truly f'ed it really is it makes rickshaw phils bike look fit for a king! :O
