Hi all... I am just in the process of organising myself a new bike via the Cycle Scheme we have at work. Looking to change my commute on the DLR to cycling in every (or at least most) days on one of the Barclays Super Highways.

Had some superb service from the guys at Cycle Surgery at Spitalfields Market and have chosen a Marin Sans Anselmo (hybrid bike).

Really looking forward to my new commute, saving money and the environment!

:welcome: and remember that commuting in London is nowhere near as scary as it sometimes looks. (Although Monday may be fun if it's snowing!)

Welcome , be aware that the so called cycling super highways arent always the best/safest route its a case of experimenting there 's hundreds of ways to make spaggeti bolognaise for example, with mushrooms, red peppers , red wine , garlic or fresh oregano etc where was ?
Cycle to Westminter daily from Walthamstow and have found 7 or 8 subtle changes to my route now I have the perfect spag bol..... off to watch Arsenal soooooon.... good luck , enjoy!!!
