Just thought I would say hello, I'm new to road biking and looking forward to hopefully doing a few sportives.
Looking at bikes just now after I sold my old giant bike.
Hope to be back in the saddle really soon

You need to sign up to a site called Mycyclinglog and within that site there is a cyclechat group, once you are in the group you need to edit your signature to show the ticker.

Look in this section for any CC forum rides http://www.cyclechat.net/forums/cc-informal-rides-and-events.47/

Hi from the best town in Fife (with a burst football team); well my heart is there ;)

Ah well i feel your pain for although i live in motherwell i am an airdrieonian at heart. and albeit there was an intense rivalry between the two clubs (not withstanding the despicable decision by messr syme in the cup semi final 1991/92 where jimmy sandison clearly chested the ball down 5 yards outside the penalty area and the aformentioned mr Syme awarded a penalty kick much to the amazement of everyone inside tynecastle) we had knoced out aberdeen and celtic in previous rounds and were dreaming of hampden glory ........ i was there and yes im still bitter about it lol.

i didnt actually realise it was that long ago, my knees are certainly feeling my age ...

Saying that i hope dunfermline do survive as its not nice when your club dies and i still cant bring myself to support clydebank in disguise

Hi there, and :welcome: from up the road.

As it happens, I support the Steelmen, who are doing quite well in many ways, but my team back home is in severe financial trouble, so I can sympathise with Pars supporters.

I hope to see you on a forum ride. Do not worry about pace - we go at the speed of the slowest rider.
