Hi, I also have been lurking and gleaning as much a info as I can get from the forums, I have recently become a mamil after 30 years and am getting ready to ride L2B night ride next month . Currently doe about 3x9mile rides in the week and then anything I can handle over 20 around knutsford area at the weekends . Very slow but highly enjoying it!

Welcome and enjoy both the site and riding round that area which is great especially riding past all the cars paying a fiver to get in to the park ! Like Potsy,i ride that way quite often and really like it.

London to Brighton is a really good ride, are you doing it with friends (I assume its not the "Fridays" as our next Brighton ride isn't until August) or on your own. If you plan it right it only has three hills and some amazing downhill whooshes that go on for ever. Last hill is the big one.
