marshmella I'm just over the border ( bearwood/ smethwick) and looking for clubs / routes etc this side of town - any advice gratefully received

Hi, and welcome tribanjules. I'm guessing you're riding a triban 3 roadbike so really its up to you on what kind of cycling you enjoy, if hills are your thing then head Dudley way or if heading south of Brum one of Brum based guys on here will sort you a good route or two

The first one is a toughie, particularly that climb at the end over Romsley LOL. I would have to do it from Bromsgrove so probably slightly longer, but it would be a good one to do.

I will do this next week at some point. Good practice for a possible Elan Valley ride

Don't forget the bacon sandwich at Nimmins Car Park, top of St Kenelm's Pass. Best I've ever had - great bacon on lovely crusty bread. And you've earned it!
