Hi all and a happy new year to everyone!
I have to confess that I only joined initially because I was doing a bit of research on converting flat bars to drops and found that somebody on the forum had already done the conversion on the same bike as I have. They'd also posted pics but, in order to view them, I had to join first! However, after viewing the pics (and liking what I saw!) I explored a bit more and found it to be a really nice site so I thought I'd hang around a bit longer!!
I only really started cycling 'properly' in 2008 which involved commuting to work as often as possible and regular jaunts out on a Sunday. It was during the Sunday rides that I discovered the supposed 'flat farmland' land around the North Warwickshire / Derbyshire / Leicestershire borders isn't all that flat after all!!
Unfortunately I didn't do much cycling in 2009 for one reason or another (all admittedly slightly weak!) but plan to pick it up again this year. I look forward to updating my progress on here.
