Thought I would pop by and say hi! I'm just starting to get back into cycling after a 6 year break due to giving birth to twins 5 years ago and a badly slipped disc 3.5 years ago. I use to cover about 15-25 miles per day back then when I was quite frankly younger/slimmer and fitter *cough*.

Anyhow now my backs feeling much better (I still have to take it easy) out came my Mountain bike this weekend - I've been wanting to cycle again for ages.

Anyhow hello to one and all

Hi Sue and welcome. With your history of cycling it won't take you long to get back into it and build up your previous fitness again. Whereabouts do you live?

Thank you the welcomes  well my daughters are due to start full time school in September (unless schools stay shut) so until then I will just be warming up my muscles and small rides, but come September I'm hoping to kickstart it with a cycle to the gym and swimming a few times a week also. My back took 8 months of physio to start moving again to the point of simply walking out the house - so you can imagine I don't want to risk that again so slow is the way to go - or so my doctor advises ;)

I'm just by Wolverhampton, very close to Wednesfield caz.
