Slovakia is a great country, for cycling as well. The place where I am living, Malacky, has a good position, surrounded by flats, but only 15km from mountains. Well, mountains might be a bit strong, the highest hill is only 800m, but there are some nice passes, so when I am making my favourite circuit I ride north, cross the hills to the east, then along them to the south and cross them back. That makes exactly 100km with two passes and total elevation about 1600m. The only problem is the wind, wherever I turn, it always hits me in the face :-)

Welcome Tomas Slovakia sound wonderful do posts some photos from your rides they always go down well....... especially those of the flat bits :-)

Round here anything over 600m counts as a mountain so yours definitely qualify. Sounds a great place.

Nope, but Peter Sagan won the last two green jerseys and Peter Velits finished second in 2010 Vuelta.

Yes they are very good and Sagen is certainly entertaining but the green suit does nothing for him.

Well, there`s been a lot of criticism that they can not perform a sprinter`s train like Cav has. Or Kittel and Greipel. But Sagan is a smart rider and he always can find a way to be there. And if you`ve seen TdF`s stage 7 you must admitt that Cannondale team made that stage...
