Been snooping around the site for a month or so and thought it's about time I joined in.
Just getting into cycling, I'm 52yrs old and was in my teens the last time I owned a bike, apart from a memorable summer way back in the 90's when i had a road bike, lived in bolton and used to go up around Belmont Rd and Darwen area.
Mainly looking to improve my health although I'm not freakish about it, I also like to enjoy riding the bike. Currently using a 90's alloy framed hybrid my younger bro gave me and I've just invested in some new tyres, wheel bearings and axle cones. Being a motorbike owner I also like to fettle.
I live in Worksop and can often be seen pounding (not !) the road between Worksop and Langold, yes that's me using the grany gears to get up the hill when entering Worksop. lol
