I haven't cycled, but everyone and his uncle seems to have got on the bike boom lately and I've ended up as the street's mechanic. I've lost count of how many gear set-ups I've adjusted, explanations I've given as to why this does this and that does that and why it's not a good idea to tighten a carbon seat post with a three foot pole on the end of an allan key with three of your mates leaning on it.
