My name is Ashley I am 47 and live in the West Midlands. I like commuting, on and off road riding for fun and keeping fit. I also like tinkering with and building bikes and have got the single speed bug (masochist

). I'm a family man in a non cycling family so have to ride mainly early morning or whenever else I can. I have several bikes and here is my current ride to work.

Where abouts in the clean, leafy, rural borough of West Midlands are you? A few of us around here, fighting the car obsession of motor town.

I am more in the North. Brownhills which is about 5 miles from Walsall,Cannock,Lichfield or Sutton Coldfield. Not too bad for cycling, 10 mins from my house heading for Lichfield and I am in greenbelt.
