I hit a pothole today. I was lucky not to puncture or come off. Why? I was too busy enthusiastically greeting some cyclists and I wasn't looking where I was going. Lesson learned.

Fortunately not, my bike's a sturdy beast. The plums are not bruised either thankfully.

Oh dear, sorry. Take its that's a disc in your back rather than a brake disc.

It's better mountain biking round here than riding on the road.

I've damaged enough rims and tyres commuting in Manchester. It's really annoying when its a new handbuilt rim, or a new wheel - had that happen twice.
