It'd be The Undertones for me. Much as I liked SLF, I think The Undertones have more of a repertoire, more songs that I like to hear again.

Hmm... looks like Undertones have highest percentage of original members (75% as opposed to SLF's 50%) but the Undertones without Feargal is like a bicycle without wheels, I'm afraid. SLF it has to be, though I prefer Undertones songs.

That's what put me off getting tickets to see them in Nottingham, quite frankly it's Mr Sharkey you go to see.

Although I liked both in the past, I'm not sure in their current guises either of those two are relevant. I've had a quick scan of the Bristol listings and so far your best bet is Alabama 3. Go see them and just play SLF and Undertones on the stereo at home and remember them when they were good (and original).
