Did the bike belong to Claud Holdsworth who was a butler ?

It is a bit hard to tell which model it is as the bike has been fitted with later components .

Yes, this has been converted to a SS and in the process many of the components have been changed. In fact the only thing that is original may be the frame. This was never a CB model.
What do you intend to do with it?

Hi, it looks like a 1977ish Holdsworth Equipe, the fork crown, straight forward dropout with mudguard eyes, colour and seat stay all point to this model, the badge I believe is a distraction, I hope this helps. Thanks Terry

Yep, I was going to say Equipe. The only model I could think of in team (Equipe) colours with a lamp boss.

Yep, I'm sticking with Holdsworth frame and Claud forks/head badge. Beyond the frame itself theres probably little, or anything, thats original.

Recommission it with some gears, tidy it up a bit, and despite its mongrel character it'd probably make a very nice riding bike.

thats not a vintage Holdsworth frame, its a modern planetX (who now own Holdsworth brand) replica
