Well that was the last of the series of Homeland been watching it the last 12 weeks and its been great, loads of twists and the ending was well, unexpected. However I can see a second series coming now for sure :becool: Anyone else been watching too?

I warched some of the first 20 mins of the first episode,,,then switched it off, as I reckoned it was just another US hyped up series which would deliver nothing

I have to admit I liked this a lot, I was expecting it be lame like so many American series are but it is definitely one of the better ones. Sure it's not The Shield, The Wire, The Sopranos or Breaking Bad but it's pretty good. I am also watching The Killing Series 2 (The US version) and it seems to be much better than series 1. The plot reminds me loosely of Twin Peaks, in that it is about finding the killer of a murdered young girl. But that is where it ends and it's not as good as Twin Peaks either but I am enjoying season 2.

watched it yonks ago (the benefits of downloading the US broadcast).

Great ending and am looking forward to the next series, which is due to be aired in November in the US i think/
My problem was the Carrie character. I couldn't warm to her so wasn't bothered about what was happening to her. She was a totally incompetent in her role.
I thought she was quite good playing the manic Carrie. A bit ott perhaps, but we waited a long time for her to flip so she might as well make the most of it ...

Worryingly, I was just on the phone to my sister and could hear my niece shouting in the background that she must have a green pen to do her homework ...!
