If you're not only keen on cycling the world but on hosting cyclists, you probably know Warmshowers. A site where generosity and mutual hospitality rule.
Cyclists who toured already in Belgium and the Netherlands may know Vrienden op de Fiets. This organisation works along the same principles but with minimal comfort requirements (e.g. real bed + sheets + breakfast + (shared) bathroom facilities) and small prices (max. 19 euro pp/pn = at expense cost). They do list also a few addresses of hosts in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
They make a difference between hosts and cyclists looking for accomodation. Hosts are listed for free in their annual publication. Cyclists pay a small yearly fee and receive in early spring the book with over 4000 addresses.
If you have a spare room and you want to offer accomodation for cycling tourists, why not let it know to 'Vrienden op de Fiets.' If you do so before the 1st of september, you will get mentioned in their guide for 2012.

If you live elsewhere, send a mail to gastadresbuitenland@vriendenopdefiets.nl with some information about you and the room (name, address, email, phone number, number of single or double beds, if smoking is allowed or not, ...).
