Logged out of hotmail yesterday.
i tend to leave the stay logged in box ticked so its logged on .

so when i logged in again i noticed thers No stay logged on box?
so i have to enter password every time..
Anyone else found this?
Is it a security measure to stop or make hacking harder?

Curious - I have a hotmail account recently 'upgraded' to Outlook.

Tried it just now (usually stay logged in) I get this

Is the account still Hotmail format or Outlook?

EDIT: Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

I think they may have changed their web address slightly. My bookmarked hotmail sign in page has no keep me logged in button but if I google "hotmail sign in" and follow the search hit to the log in page the keep me signed in button is there.

Short answer, google it and update your bookmark, I have and its fixed the missing chexkbox

Web based mail accounts like to ask you to log in again from time to time; I expect it's a security thing.

any joy?

If you've not done so already then try the hotmail.co.uk sign in page.

TBH searching 'hotmail sign in', 'outlook sign in' and 'live.com sign in' (as outlook - ex hotmail.com seems to go by this now too) & the the Bing home page each give me the keep logged in checkbox.

my hotmail.co.uk live.com emails both sign in through whichever address/portal above, dunno why MS make it so faffy (oh hang on a mo.... )

No, i cant find any login with a tic box
seems to be your computer, I'll have to duck out and leave it to the clever people to diagnose what file or cache or whatever needs clearing. best of luck.

one last thing, assuming you have a smartphone, if you google hotmail/outlook etc on that does that up with the tick box?
