Did a 12.5 miler yesterday. My longest yet. Managed it in 50:44 with an average speed of 14.7mph. Is this respectable? Bear in mind I'm a 16 stone bloke on an Apollo.

More than respectable, it's bloody good! Keep it up..... try upping the distance without bothering yourself about he speed, as that can be disheartening as soon as you hit a headwind or haven't had enough breakfast one day. The speed will sort itself out. Concentrate on a technique that is smooth and efficient, and the speed will come all on its own.
