How do you know when your in love with.....

Your bike ??
I bought a Giant TCX 2 a few weeks ago and after using a Giant Roam this bike is a light and fast on and off road.
The thing is I have now developed low back pain (I have suffered disc trouble in the past) and this is spoiling my love for the bike.
I have not used drop bars for 25 years and the new riding position is killing me.
Is this like a women ? You love her, she looks great but sometimes you just do not get on. Do I persevere through the hard times or am I destined to ride flat bars?
Now I have rode drops I think i would find it hard to let go !!

If that the case ride on the hoods then, I never ride on the drops

I ride on the hoods for most of the time .
However ,on steep climbs (of which there are many in the North yorks moors) I seem to be suffering (back wise) a lot more than on my other bike .
