How long to leave videos up?

Here's a question - if you're a camera user, and have uploaded many clips over the years, how long would you leave the clip up, and how long would you leave the registration in the video title/tags, thus keeping it in Google?

I generally go through my public video's every three months or so and private most of them, leaving anything really bad, in my opinion, public. Even really bad incidents maybe made private eventually.
