How many keys do you have?

I've just counted 9 keys on my keyring:

1 back gate padlock key
1 disc lock key
4 door keys
1 locker key
1 office door key
1 garage key

I also have my motorbike key separately but I guess that doesn't count.

Just wondered if I'm average or not key-wise.

If kept together, you lose one you lose them all, is the way I see it.

That's sensible, but I need 6 or 7 of mine in any one day. Plus a big bunch is more noticeable for me if they fall out your pocket!

I have 4. Car key. House key. Garage key. Bike key.

Mr WD has around 100 in 1 of his man drawers. He has no idea what they belong to, but is loathe to throw them away as you 'never know when you might need one' which is one of his favourite mantras along with 'you never know when 1 will come in handy'. They have been in the man drawer for at least 20 years, so i think i do know when 1 will be needed, or will be handy.

One. Each of the three house doors uses the same key.

Car key is kept separately and comes out when needed which is seldom. Work is accessible using my ID badge

I wonder if the day will come where we all have smart locks on everything, and will just need a single swipe card or fingerprint scanner.

Car key and front door key.....every thing at work is swipe or keypad.

Main keyring: front door key, back door key, radar key, desk key.

If I need to take a key when I'm out on the bike I just take the front door key.
