How many new ideas for things to try do you actually try?

I reckon I've got a 20% success rate of thinking I'd like to do this and then actually doing it. My problem is that I can imagine things in glorious detail from beginning to end, so after that I don't need to do it ;)

Other things, I'm kind in love with the idea but the reality is tedious, for instance doing up a house, not for me, once only I'm afraid.

Other things spend a long time in gestation before unexpectedly bursting into life. The trouble with this is, especially with physical goals, you realize you should have done it 10 years ago when you thought of it, it would have been bloody easier. ;)

Yeah, i toyed with the idea of giving up smoking for about 15 years, when i did it last year i realised i should have done it long ago.

With you on the house thing. I bought my current house with the idea of doing it up, then realised i'm terrible at DIY and i will do almost anything to avoid it.

I remember your signature. It was less about go for it and more about musing moments or I fancy a {insert fancy of choice}. I'm more of a Guiness surfer kind of person.

I know:thumbsup: She was one in a million my Nan:biggrin:

Mine was wise too, she used to say to me, Jane, if you have a part of your body you are aware of, there is something wrong with it. She was right, If I have toothache, I am aware of my teeth, but I am not aware of my teeth without toothache, if you follow what I mean

Anyway, I digress sorry Crackle ;)
