How long your side effects last? I had very bad ankle swelling when I started Amlodipine but then after 2 months it simply disappeared and haven't came back yet.

I don't think I persisted that long after side effects started, interesting to hear your experience. Now on nothing but still high BP no doubt. Seeing GP in a few weeks to discuss. Oh well...

I take 2 tablets a day for my thyroid which used to annoy me as that started when I was just past 40. Then my daughter was diagnosed with a thyroid problem and she also takes 2 tablets a day - that led to a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, so she also wears a pump that she has to change every 2-3 days, a blood glucose monitor that has to be changed every 10 days, plus has to take up to 4 tablets to deal with her time of the month. She also has between 2 and 10 different creams and ointments to deal with dry skin and eczema. Plus we have to take a medical note and medical case when we go on holiday.

I now thank my lucky stars that I only have two tablets to deal with...

I don’t take anything yet, age 40 (hexadecimal).

I know I said previously that I don’t have any medication to take (at my grand old age of 64). That’s not strictly true as I forget about the medication on top of my medicine cabinet, but I refuse to take that.
