I was out on Balmedie beach yesterday. It is a very impressive place. Amongst the usual flotsam and jetsam was this bottle which caught the eye as it seemed a familiar design. Then I noticed the special price at the top of the bottle which really dates it. Shows how long this stuff is going to be around for

The washing up liquid is before my time, or at least the time I was big enough to reach the sink.

I thought the seal photo was fine, no gore, just dead. They do die.

No decimal halfpennies in the UK after 1st Feb 1984. They were introduced in 1971.

So by that 'token' your bottle is between 25 and 39 years old. It looks in good nick, I would suggest ebay.

As for the seal, I've never seen anything like that on ebay but you never know your luck. Suggest 'buyer to collect' though.

Squezy - not sure if they still make it. It was a unilever brand back in the day.

I remember this well. It's probably mid-70s given the price on it. It hasn't been seen since around 1980 sadly.

Got some 1/2 p's in a jar somewhere, what a pain in the arse coin that was due to it's size ! Scary thought that the plastic is still going strong after all these years, wonder what the landfill stuff is doing ?

Can you put the seal back up, I missed it?

I think the mods could do if they think its suitable? It wasn't anything bad. Just a young common seal which looked like it was asleep.
