I was busy putting new bar tape on the bike this morning, and was interrupted by 3 callers at the front door in the space of 10 minutes.
First caller was a Jehovah's Witness, trying to interest me in accepting a copy of Watchtower Magazine. I politely declined.
Second caller was a door-to-door salesman trying to get me to switch energy supplier. 'Sorry, I'm not interested'.
By the third call, I was starting to get annoyed. I was preparing myself to say 'No thanks, not interested."..., but it was my son's friend whose bike I'd repaired the week before...with a box of chocolates and a card saying 'Thank you for fixing my bike'. Completely unexpected - I was really touched!

It's nice to hear of good deeds being done and reciprocated.
