How to get the council to take notice ... and actually DO something!!

been there done that and still getting no were, at least i have it all documented so WHEN some poor sole is killed it can all be dumped on some news papers desk.
all the condescending letters from the so called cycling council office telling me to learn how to rid in primary position, on a road deliberatly narrowed by five feet at each side and silly islands put down the centre, when for a tiny amount of money they could have just put in two five foot wide cycle lanes.
at the end of the day all you get is it has been done now and will not even be looked at until we have screwed every other road up in town.

Sometimes they do get it right ... for example I've noticed where some of the cycle lanes in Fareham have been widened, which is nice. Other times, they get it horribly wrong ...
