I'll be the first to put my head above the parapet and say;

• We are full and that is the world as a whole. I cannot remember the stat but it used to be that we would need two Planet Earths to sustain current world population growth and consumption.
• We don't need more people to pay for pensions as it will make the problem 4 and 10 fold worse for future generations. This seems to be the main excuse given.
• Everything should be based upon sustainability rather than unfettered growth and that means one child.
• Did I mention that this planet is overpopulated? But it never seems to be talked about by the talking heads.

I used to poo poo anything to do with the green agenda but now feel it is the most important thing of all. I'm just not very good at articulating it, see bullets points above
