Hey,

I'm Ross, from bonnie old scotland, new to the forum, and know that most forum members appreciate a wee hello before asking anything, seeking advice, so here goes!

I'm just returning to bikes for the first time since early teen-hood, for a couple of reasons.... mainly the cardio factor lol, and now moved into town, so gunna try and minimise car-use for the day-to-day life. so I came to your forum for a few reasons, to get the low-down on some newer stuff i may not know about, and of-course some help on certain topics... budgets gunna be low, so i will probably be popping in for some second-hand advice here and there too.

I'm usually quite good at self-researching so wont trouble you lot with the easy to find questions... at least - i hope not anyway!

anyway.... I've already got a question, and i know this ain't the place for it, so i'll wrap it up here, and figure out how to post pics and such in the forum and get cracking!

haha, no worries, i was having a nosey at some posts before i registered and saw a couple of helmet threads (trying my hardest to remain PC saying this lol) and its not something i'm too bothered about yet, I've been a motorbike owner for 9years now anyway and am fully aware of the benefits of wearing them and the joys of not anyway lol... anyway with the chance of treading on dark waters i'll heed your warning and steer clear! \
