As Bromptonfb says, winds are a nuisance, but once you accept that you'll be in a lower gear and spinning more, it's not too bad.

I'd rather have winds than rain. I end up cleaning and re-lubing the bike after a wet ride. Windy ones only add a handful of minutes to my commute and I don't need to clean it.

So would I, but I seem to have had both for the last three weeks nearlyxx(.

Still I set my fastest ever return commute with the tail wind and the weather's supposed to be improving all week :sad:

Ahh Bentmikey, was wondering when you were going to comment on this thread.

Like a 4 x4 driver in snow, this is one of the rare occasions where you can come and tell us about the merits of your odd bike.
