Hurry up Winter !

Now that the hot humid days of Summer are gone, I'm saying let's skip Fall and go straight to Winter. I would rather have only two seasons Summer and Winter, but alas the wife won't move. I sure hope it's a short Fall and Winter is filled with snow and ice. I have to get my Fat bike back from a friend who I let use right after last Winter season. He knows I'll be coming to get it, and a quick tune up and a couple of rides to shake it down and I'm ready. Come on Winter !

Your "fall" ride looks ideal to me, @Zipp2001 .
Winter here on the west of Scotland usually means a series of storms. High winds, lots of rain, and darkness. At least in summer the rain is warmer, winds lighter, and longer daylight.

Winter? I can wait, a whole week in January when every thing stops for a few days and I can't get out on the bike. Some years for a whole week!

We have it tough here in the south east, in Kent!

Down in the south of the UK we don't get much snow, what we get normally turns to slush very quickly. So no snow tyres for me.... many of the trails just get muddy and boggy so I can't get too enthusiastic about winter.
