What a long day.Hospital at 10-45 all booked in and paper work done 11-30.Then nothing till about 14-30 i was checked over by a doc,signed paperwork,and waited again.Wheeled down/up to theatre 15-30.What an experience,it was incredible.Awake all the time.I lost count of the number of numbing jabs pumped in to my forehead the staff inside the theatre were brilliant.Anyway my humour came out.I was asked if i knew what was going to happen,and you are local,i replied yes i live in Meanwood.Next was after resting i was wheeled back to where it all began,can you manage to get off the trolley,so as i stood up 6'4"of me HOW tall are you,in shock ,i never ever expected that she said,i really didn't.So she handed me over with the following words,he is still smiling,the receiving nurse said he has been smiling all day.So now i have had a very large carcinoma taken off,two spots but it was once piece,plus some form of triangle piece of me taken out also.I could not hear clearly due to one aid being out.So eight weeks now to see if they are happy.
