I am very interested to measure my (and your) standing-start-to-30mph time on the flat without wind.

The trouble is that in my experience, bike speedos are not particularly accurate and they can take quite a while to catch up with what speed you're actually travelling at!

What's required is a truly accurate, cheap, safe and easily replicable way of measuring speed, in which case we can have a CycleChat 0-30 sprint challenge! Which would be fun.

I don't need a measuring device to tell you that for me the time would be "never" .

...and how you gonna get no wind?

No beans, chick peas or garlic in my diet for at least two days ....

Garlic is the worst - if I have it for lunch then come bedtime I'm crankin' 'em out like they're going out of style, pungent and loud. XmrsIS refuses to feed me garlic any more.

0-30 mph time for me on the flat. I'll answer that now despite the fact that my bikes are over 20 miles away.

NEVER! Unless I grab hold of the boot spoiler on a passing car.
