You come on here to post a photo before riding it - that's a dedicated cyclechat member - I would have been straight out on it round the block via a fifty mile roundabout.

I haven't had time yet... Looks like it might be a week before I get time!

Any day now, I should get to ride the thing!

I'm planning on having a longish ride on Monday.

A friend I ride with bought a Synapse a year ago, fantastic bike. I wish I had gone for discs with my last bike purchase as he has much more confidence than me in the wet. Just remember to feather the brakes and not grab a handful! Enjoy :bicycle:

Brilliant! What a superb bike.

I did a 28 mile circuit, out from home and back. I need a to do a bit of tweaking with the riding position, and I also need to learn to pace myself, but other than that it was all positive.

Going out again tomorrow... :okay:

disc's are very easy to lock-up and lose control in the wet so the extra confidence might not be a good thing

Get out on it and get your discs broken in !
Mine didn't start stopping me well till I had ridden it for 2 hours. Might need fettling for clearance too.
TBH even now I struggle to get them to lock up easily but then mine are only cable discs not in the same league as my hydraulic brakes were on a Boardman MTB.
