1984 was a top year for SST as they released two seminal double albums: Zen Arcade and Minutemen's Double Nickels on the Dime. Minutemen slightly shade it for me, but they're both great albums.

I've never listened to much Husker Du, but Bob Mould formed a band called Sugar in the early 90's who released a superb album called Copper Blue.

Along with Beaster and F.U.E.L.
All great releases.
Saw their first London shows and a few times after. Brilliant.
