I need help, is my Raleigh ULTRA LED (LAA822) Legit?

Hi guys, I bought a front light for my bike, the name is in the title.

The light is supposedly made by Raleigh but the light has no raleigh logo of any kind on the light. I cant tell if its real or fake. Does anybody have experience with these lights, are they supposed to have no decals referring to its maker?

I bought it off amazon, this is the light and the seller.

A quick Google suggests that the BLACK one has the RSP logo on, I don't know what it stands for but it's basically the modern incarnation for Raleigh, I think they think it will endear them to a new generation as opposed to the old Raleigh name, and the SILVER one doesn't, go figure.

It won't be made by Raleigh anyway, it will churned out in a far eastern factory manufacturing millions of lights every week for as many different suppliers, Raleigh, Cateye, Smart etc, etc, etc.

I doubt it would be fake as it's not the sort of sought after item that forgers would go to the trouble of copying.

If unhappy return it and buy one from a bigger name in lights, if your happy with it performance I wouldn't worry about it, and FWIW I'd rather it didn't say Raleigh on it myself anyway.

As above its only going to be sold in a pack.

Think of all the profit / costs and that light probably cost about £2 to make and pack.

No point in a fake light like that when you can copy magicshine, moon etc.

I should have known, cheap/ish stuff sold using well known names. I just turned it on and it works great, only issue is how long it lasts. I think ill keep it as I have enough to do at work, when I get home I don't have the time or patience for dealing with this stuff so ill keep it.

You're right, it is better if it doesn't have a name on it
