I often see the same sort of behaviour from the drivers of all sorts of vehicles, desperate to get past my truck before the dual carriageway runs out. It's amazing how often they don't realise they're driving into trouble until the last second, and amazing how utterly unconcerned I can be if they want to have a play with my trailer wheels.

Lol! I have never driven a proper lorry, but I have driven a Luton van on a few occasions - if anything, I found it very relaxing - because (a) you know you're in a vehicle that does 0-60 in a fortnight, so there's no point even trying to get anywhere fast and ( you are driving something at least three times the size of a car, so no bugger is going to play silly buggers with you!

You'd be surprised how many do, though ... my favourite is when I've annoyed someone on the motorway - usually by overtaking something slower than they'd like me to - and they get their revenge by cutting in front of my truck and putting the brakes on hard. Oh, OK. If you like. It's not as if I'm actually going to slow down or anything. Usually they realise it might be a good idea to accelerate again.
