Arch are you talking of those bikes from eons back whereby it had no pedals & you proppelled yourself along with your feet..

Yes... Actually, I think we should all do it more, it's hilarious. I followed a mate once, he had to scoot because his chain had jammed up, and it looked so comical (and he was quite fast on the flat!) Mind you, I'd had a few beers.

It's probably still faster and more efficient than walking, but lower impact on joints than running.

I'll got with that Arch but pedalling is dynamicaly better in my opinon - still they'd be a laugh !

I was trying to find a pic.

Its all exercise at the end of the day.

Obviously, over a distance, pedalling wins, but imagine the longevity of a bike stripped of its drive train, and scooted, for short hops like to the shop. Virtually nothing to go wrong! (except p***tures)

Plus it would make people smile.:ohmy:
