That headlight visor can't be legal can it?

I wear similar to this combo on my commute, my goggles are tinted/mirrored and my helmet a leather textured type, sent to me by a pal in Thailand, I am sure it's all illegal and offers zippo protection, but it looks good to me. I use them on the Vespa too. :okay:

I was caught speeding on my Van Van last week (37mph), £100 & 3 points or, a speed awareness course. I need to slow down and this looks s.l.o.w, but good.

There are at least two Belgian importers I know about somewhere. I met some Belgian fellas there a few years ago and one of them (also a cyclist - Ridley bikes) was going to import them, do them up, then sell them on, for a reasonable price.

Unfortunately I don't know any more details.

We've sold and serviced a fair few, they have Japanese fuel injection and good reliable engines.

Can't go wrong really!.

I saw quite a few of these in India too, one of them was restored to look like an army bike, it had olive green paintwork, olive canvas panniers, the works. It was fabulous. Another cool local chap rode one that was all black and chrome, and he wore a black leather jacket swinging open in the breeze, and Ray Ban aviators... no helmet, natch.

All that lovely indian build quality...in a British winter...you sure, nice classic tho
Better than British build quality...we don't have monsoons or stupidly hot summers, and as for British winters......oooh 3 degrees C and 3mm of snow.....just saying...

Staggered out of The Fox at Shipley this afternoon and looked at the bikes in the the window next door, I always do this whilst I wait for the taxi. But today a switch flicked and I have an overwhelming urge for a 500 chrome classic. :okay:

They are beautiful looking bikes but as others have mentioned the Indian build quality hasn't got a brilliant reputation. If it was me I'd still get one but then again I'm an incredibly impulsive person and that hasn't always worked out well for me. You learn a lot about yourself when you're staring through the bars of a cell in a Thai prison.

A customer of mine inherited a motorbike from a relative a few years ago. It had been in a house from 1971 when the owner bought it, then rode it for about 1000 miles. Then he decided he didn't like motorbikes so he just left it in the house. She showed it to me. The only thing worn was the rubber on the handlebars which had started to disintegrate. Apart from that it looked immaculate. I remember her saying it had a small engine, around 125,175 cc Maybe?
