I'd say £900 was a bargain for an Arabesque in excellent condition.

The reason I didn't bid was I'd prefer this colour

Too right....the Arabesque was the first type of Colnago I ever saw back in a 1984 mag and thought all Colnago lugs were like that, but they certainly weren't. Not exactly going to make a Hetchins owner jealous but even so.....
