Ian of Green Cables?

im giving my old bike a makeover.
It's a Puch Prima, so has some green badges, although the fram decals are in poor shape.
I have some green cables that would tie in with the green badges/decals, so should I use them, or go for low key black?

It would look more orginal with black cables. Myself i would go for black.

Colours and aesthetics are a very, very personal choice.

If it were my bike, and I was to swap in such a bright green cable, my feeling is that it needs more than just a decal and badge to match to. Perhaps some coloured rims and/or tyres and some green bar tape too. Make it big, make it bold and make it make a statement. Just be sure that all the greens are the same shade otherwise it will look like a bad explosion in a Dulux factory.

Other than that, black cables will blend in, or white cables + saddle and bar tape will give a more subtle splash of contrast.
