Iberian language music (Spain and Portugal etc)

I'm half Portuguese myself and am currently trying to learn Spanish. Sadly I don't know how to speak Portuguese but the languages are very similar in basic form.

I've found that listening to and occasionally singing along to music is a really cool way to improve pronunciation (although be careful with South American stuff!) and reinforce key verbs and their usage. I wondered if anyone else here is learning Spanish/Portuguese and know of any good learning resources or music that's worth listening to.

A couple of tunes/artists of note.

Hey. Thanks for that. Being half Portuguese, I should know a lot more about Fado. Sadly though I don't and have a lot to learn. Fado is particularly appreciated.

On Spanish music these guys sound a bit too busted-like but are infact in their 40s surprisingly. Oh how 'amor' has been etched into my brain.

If you are trying to learn Spanish, Patxi Andion is definitely the singer to listen to. The accent and pronunciation are just poetic (the problem is though that you will spend a lifetime trying and never get anywhere close).[media]

Here for rides.
If you can bear fado for any period of time as well as Mariza try Cristina Branco or Katia Guerreiro or go back to the source with Amália Rodgrigues

You'll find loads of it free on Spotify

But you may want some cheerful music too!
