I think I've mentioned before that one of my favorite singers is the Spanish singer Patxi Andión, and while listening to some of his music on YouTube the other day I stumbled across this by a Portuguese singer (I think) called Ana Moura. I don't speak Portuguese myself so I don't know what its about but I think its rather delightful, particularly the guitars (people strumming chords on guitars have always put me off the instrument, but the way in which the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin Americans play the guitar is just something else all together).

There used to be an Andalucian protest band called Jarcha whose songs included a lot of spoken word. They had an album called "En el Nombre de Espana, Paz!" I remember the words being very clear and simple to understand.
