They can appear every night of your stay, or none.
The best way is to explore a brilliant country with superb waterfalls, glaciers, geysers and friendly locals
Have a brilliant time and if you see the Northern light then it is a bonus
I saw a "poor show" one night and it was a breathtaking experience that was one of those moments you remember for ever
