If I want to embed an image or video, I copy the URL into clipboard, then go to my post and click the appropriate button before pasting the URL into the popup field.
What would be really handy would be for the WYSIWYG editor to detect that some text is in the clipboard, and automatically pastes the text into the field when you click the button.
