Il Lombardia - Saturday 10th October **SPOILER**

[GnarlyCrank]

What am I going to watch for the next 5 months?

Cyclocross starts tomorrow.

Cross is the methadone of Road Racing's heroin

[TomDW]

Ciccone doomed to 2nd

Forever 2nd, must be quite hard to take after the Euro championships. Climbs looked hard so was Del Toro on a bad day? That's how Seixas won, not sure it was really the kind of profile for Evenepoel? (but he did win LBL so perhaps that's different)

Remco was 2nd the last two years, so he was down as "best of the rest"

[DeadCalm]

Chuffed to bits with that.

He struggled with the climbs at the worlds too, so must be related to form.

It was very impressive, hopefully he can challenge Pog in these races next seaon

[TomKUC]

I still think Pog is a level above next season it's still gonna be Pog at least in the long stage races/GTs interesting to see how they go in the classics fight though with Pog presumably hitting the cobbles first again.

If not next year, the year after.
Given his self confidence I'm sure he'll try anywsy. Could be fun to watch.

Fresh from winning Lombardia, he went and had fun in a MTB race

A bit more about the protest at the startline.
It was organised independently of the CPA, Ben Healy got a rider from each team into a WhatsApp

I also didn't realise Gloag had been hit by a moto in Tre Valli Varesine
