Well done mate!

I managed my 7 mile trip in 35 mins today, this is only my second commute the first time i did it it took me nearly 45 mins, im quite impressed with it though, it can only get faster! Although im sure there are plenty out there who could do it much faster anyways.

My knees don't feel so great either, im only 23 as well.....this is not good!!! Anyone got any tips or excerises to keep your knees from aching?

Don't know how I did so well tonight. My average speed was just over 15mph , max was just over 27 i think that was going over the bow flyover.
Think i was helped by trying to keep up with a cyclist in front but I lost him coming up to Ilford when I stopped at lights.

Sig, take a high five from me.
My best time for my 16.25 miles commute is 1 hour 12 minutes.
Respect buddy.

Congrats but now of course you are going to want to beat that time - its never ending AHHHHHH!!!!!!

If the knees hurt behind try dropping the seat 1-2mm
if they hurt in front drop down a gear and use a slightly faster cadence

cycle in an lower gear and see a physio who will give you some exercises to strengthen the muscle around your knee.

That's fast!

My 16 miles takes an hour and a half. I tell myself that this is because I am riding a BSO....however now I have my new non-BSO Vita so that excuse will go out of the window....must be the headwind, then!
