So i have been hunting round for a groupset to upgrade a bike to the bike is a Viking Giro d'Italia and i have found the best/closest match to the groupset on there is the Sora 3300 which unfortunatly you can't really buy as a set anymore, So i have hunted around and ordered new parts all 3300 from different places around the world France, USA, Italy to name but a few, now i have got the downtube cable stops to convert it to STI shifters and have managed to locate a 7 speed ST-3300 from the states and i am just waiting for it all to arrive but......Heres the problem i cannot find a L/H double ST-3300 anywhere (well not new anyway).
So do i just hold out for one to turn up on ebay(although i dont find this favorable as it will be a secondhand part)or is there a chance i could build from spares a full L/H double ST-3300 as there is a listing for an internal workings L/H ST-3300 from canada

and replacement hoods are readily available on ebay also,
yet this dose leave the body/casing of the sti still missing so could i use a different body/casing from a different model in its place?
