Had an early start this morning (well, 10 oclock - but I am a student). Was getting ready with the radio tuned to the local station.

They did this "postcode lottery" thing, where they pick a postcode at random, there 'roadrunner' team or something goes there and anyone who comes and says some silly phrase to them wins £50 (and a free MOT).

Now, I didn't have time this morning as I had a lecture to get to...but I need to get up earlier tomorrow as I've got a bit of work to catch up on. Plan is, to tune in, get the postcode, find it on the map and bike there as quickly as possible and nab myself £50 .

I didn't catch the whole thing this morning, but I don't think it is limited to one person...just anyone who finds them (within a sensible time limit).

This is all banking on the post code being within a reasonable distance of here.

Sod the bloody free MOT ....unless they'll do my bike . Assuming it goes to plan I'll try and film it on my helmet camera

I wish you luck but don't be disappointed if you find some others have arrived ahead of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be more disappointed if the post code is too far away .

I didn't really catch the whole thing this morning, other than there was a £50 prize if you found them in a certain postcode. I don't think it was only for the first person, but I guess there must be some limit .

I bet they don't even do it tomorrow. That would be rubbish

I'm sure you'll easily make £250-1000 if you post this thread to The Sun, or The Daily Mail under the pretext that you are willing to risk life and limb for £50 in order to avoid student debt.

get up early, spend time 'researching' the radio, cycle like mad to get to the right place and come out with what the company wants to hear.

You do realise that a job would probably pay you £50 for less effort?

lol. Job? We've not learnt about them at UNI yet .

With my old UNI job it would have taken about 8-10 hours to earn £50...this, if I was to win, would be less than an hour.

I've got the radio on. I thought they weren't doing it...was a bit disheartened. Then they gave the first part away...NR3  This isn't too far from me.

Just need the second part and I'll shoot off...got my lycras on.
