There is a legitimate reason excuse for why I made the mistake. If only I'd realised that it was earlham not dereham road I would have been there in about 5 minutes....grrrr!! nevermind

well, the fault was.

I typed in the first part of the postcode NR5...and it was showing as the bit above dereham road...

Then when I quickly typed in the second bit it was just off earlham road.

I didn't notice that the map jumped down, still assuming it was off dereham. I just had it in my head that it would be off Dereham road...

When I'm not in a rush to win £50 I can read a map ...it was a brain glitch...bloody windows brain

With the radio station thing? I've no idea, I don't think they actually say on air when someone gets there...just the day after they say "mr so and so" won. It was only for the one week so I've no idea how long it actually took people.

I was cycling around for about 20 minutes all in all...so by the time I arrived at the end I didn't expect to have won, but hoped I might at least see them. I would guess, it would be claimed in 5-10 minutes. If it was a local resident listening they would know and would quickly pop down. I doubt many other people actually did what I did

Well I did wonder about the safety of several people desparately travelling as fast as they could trying to consult maps, Sat Nav's etc rather than concentrating on the road. But it also looked funny (as an onlooker).
