That is really good of you find these, I have save a search in eBay as the only ones available are in the USA. I will give it a week and then buy from Ribble.

I'd agree that the !quality" of caliper & blocks can make a difference. I use Tektro long reach DP calipers with Shimano blocks on my winter bike, and Campag Veloce DP calipers on my road bike, with standard Veloce blocks. The Tektro's eat blocks, but that is always the case being ridden through the winter, the campags don't but the braking feel & overall power is better from the Campags - except in the wet, when things get *interesting*.
